And The Words So Sweet
Shall I bring it where you are
If you want me to, I will
You can send me any task
I'll do anything you ask
If you'll only love me still

When all of skinny/pretty friends keep talking about how fat/ugly they are
And I’m just sitting there like,
I love Bioshock Infinite, so instead of sleeping, I made these. The end.

Need Some Input
I am trying to get some quality verses out of this for a song on an album I am working on. The subject is domestic abuse/rape. I am going for something less cliche and more real, while still keeping a vague and foggy tone. Any suggestions? This is a VERY rough draft of possible verses. I am also open to chorus/ (other) bridge/ form ideas.
Picking up the pieces of my fallen heart
Only in my mind am I alone
Knowing what is to come
Might make it easier this time around
You tell me you need me
I feel your breath against my ear
I bristle against your touch
And I wish this was a lucid dream
I feel the heat of your thoughts
I see the menace in your intellect
I hear your smile through twisted teeth,
Preparing for this unending nightmare
I want to swallow myself whole
Just to escape with my better self
As these tears fall,
I face the gravity of your force upon me
Tonight, there is no life,
Time stops and the world fades to black
While I lay frozen, I will listen for the silence of life anew,
As I realize nothing will be the same.
The ringing in my head, in my body
Is your dream, your legacy left behind
Your voice in my ear,
Haunting my mind, ripping open my heart,
This warped new soul
Has now a long way to go
Before singing a song of love
To anyone new
